Rohnert Park, CA California – April 3. 2017 – Soco Nexus Board of Directors has elected Alex Alpert, CEO of Crater, to serve as the organization’s new Chairman. Lisa Tamayo recently resigned as Soco Nexus Chairwoman to work full-time as CEO/Founder of Scollar, a local startup.
“Alex is an entrepreneur and innovator in his core. He has already demonstrated remarkable talent and sound judgement in positioning Crater, the startup he founded in 2015, as the industry-leading provider of disruptive technology for moving companies,” it was announced on behalf of Soco Nexus’ Board.
As a Soco Nexus Board Member, Alex was previously responsible for helping Sonoma County entrepreneurs accelerate their success within a dynamic and sustainable environment. He and his wife Daniela are also the hosts of SoCo Nexus Startup Jam, which has become a local launching platform for up and coming entrepreneurs.
